SPECIAL EVENTS:
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF SPECIAL EVENTS RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH COLLECTORMANIA GLASGOW INCLUDING COSPLAY COMPETITION, PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SESSIONS AND TALKS

PHOTO SESSIONS
We have arranged professional photo sessions with some of the guests here this weekend. Tickets for these will be available to buy at the event from the organisers booth. These photo sessions are being held early afternoon so there is time to process the photos and have them ready for collection the same day.
Please turn up promptly for the photo sessions (the start times are stated on the tickets). Many sessions take much less than the allocated time & once the last person in the queue has been photographed the guest will return to the signing area. Even though there may be a long queue for photos it will move quickly!

SATURDAY PHOTO SESSIONS

Andy Hallett - 11.30am - £15
Gareth David-Lloyd - 12pm - £10
Anthony Head - 12.30pm - £15
John Rhys-Davies - 1pm - £15
Paul McGann - 1.30pm - £10
Robert Englund - 2pm - £15
Devon Murray - 2.45pm - £10
SUNDAY PHOTO SESSIONS

Paul McGann - 11.30am - £10
John Rhys-Davies - 12pm - £15
Devon Murray - 12.30pm - £10
Robert Englund - 1pm - £15
Andy Hallett - 1.30pm - £15
Gareth David-Lloyd - 2pm - £10
Anthony Head - 2.30pm - £15

How the photo sessions works:
1) Your photo will be taken by a professional photographer.
2) The shot will be taken in front of a backdrop and with lighting to ensure the best possible image.
3) You will be standing beside the guest(s) and not leaning over a table.
4) Your picture will be a 6” by 9” colour photo (not an inkjet print) and, all being equal, should be ready for collection a couple of hours after the shoot finishes.
5) All of this combined should provide you with something unique and special.

Does this mean I can’t take a picture of the guest during the autograph session?
We will not add any extra restrictions on taking photos whilst queuing or at their autograph table simply due to the photo shoot. The photo shoot is purely an add extra for those that would like it. However, posed photos may need to be stopped due to the guest being busy as may normally happen.
What happens if it doesn’t come out for some other reason?
This is highly unlikely, however if problems should occur then there are many ways we can improve the image to remove imperfections and if you are still unhappy with the results then you will get a full refund.
How many tickets can I buy at once?
There is no limit on the number you can buy.
Can my friend and I both be in the same picture?
Yes, however it is still one ticket per person. You can have two people in the picture, but what you need to do is buy two tickets and you can then pose together in two photos, and only one copy of each will be developed. Note: No more than 2 people will be allowed in the shot.
Can I order extra prints from you?
No
What time will the prints be ready?
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the photos will be ready within several hours of the end of the photoshoot. This will allow you time to then have the photo signed if you wish. However if you are unable to collect them that day then they will also be available to collect the following day of the show, or we can arrange to post them to you after the show.
How many tickets will be sold?
Tickets are limited to around 400.
What if my ticket doesn't arrive?
Tickets are normally sent out a week before the event by registered post (i.e. you have to sign for them). So don't panic 2-3 weeks out thinking you've been missed. If in the unlikely event you don't get your tickets before you leave for the event please contact us and we will try to sort it out for you.

The Small Print:
Showmasters reserves the right to refuse anyone from taking part in the photo shoot; if payment has already been made then we will refund them. We also reserve the right to change the day and times of the photo shoot if it becomes neccessary, subject to guest appearence days. Guests are subject to work and other commitments, and have the right to cancel. If this occurs we will give you the option of changing your photo session or issue a refund. While it is our intention to have all photos developed and back within a couple of hours of the photo shoot ending, if for any reason the photos are delayed then Showmasters will distribute them later in the day. Any uncollected photos can be arranged to be posted out.

Guests appear subject to work commitments. Charges will be made for autographs. Photographs of the guests will be available. Not all guests are appearing on all days.

FREE GUEST TALKS
We have some guest talks running throughout the weekend. Although these are free, seating is limited so tickets will be needed. These are being handed out from the talk area. To make things as fair as possible we are only issuing one ticket per person, and tickets will be needed for everyone attending the talk, including children who need their own seat. Talks are approx 30 minutes long, with 10 minute gaps to change over audiences. Audiences will be asked to leave the seated area after each talk finishes, even if they have tickets for the next talk. We would ask that you limit photography to the first few minutes of the talk. We’re afraid that videoing is not permited.

COSPLAY
Collectormania Glasgow is proud to announce it will be hosting a cosplay competition as part of its events schedule!

WHAT IS COSPLAY?
The word cosplay comes from mixing 'costume' and 'play'. It basically means the hobby of making and wearing costumes of your favourite characters from films, anime, books or video games. Cosplay is all about bringing characters to life, so many cosplayers also try their best to look or act like the character.

COSPLAY EVENTS AT COLLECTORMANIA GLASGOW
Masquerade is taking place on Saturday at 3.30pm on the main stage, this is the event where you can show off your costume to the public and compete to win some great prizes!

Registration will take place on the day between 11am and 1.30pm at the Cosplay Desk. Places are limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment!
All types of costume are welcome, including anime and manga, film and TV, video games, comic book characters, original costumes and others. However every contestant must provide a reference picture of their character for the judges.
